The WA Business News 40under40 Awards have gone from strength to strength since they were launched in 2002, along the way highlighting some of Western Australia’s top entrepreneurial talent.
Each year the Awards celebrate 40 successful business people under the age of 40. From that group, a 1st Among Equals is selected.
As a new sponsor, Ajilon has been proud to enter into a three-year sponsorship agreement with WA Business News, providing support with fellow sponsors Woodside Energy, Alcoa, Panoramic Resources, Commonwealth Bank, Singapore Airlines, the WA Department of Commerce, Hudson Henning & Goodman, Pitcher Partners, Cape, Seven Network, Mix 94.5, Star3 Media, Quality Press, Wills Domain and Clarity Communications.
On February 18, this year’s Awards culminated in a gala black-tie dinner for 750 guests, held on steps of Parliament House in West Perth. WA General Manager Chris Benthien attended with members of his management team and key clients, which was a great opportunity to identify new business opportunities and strengthen client relationships.
The sponsorship is helping to boost Chris’s profile in the WA market, in addition to promoting the Ajilon brand. As a result of this year’s campaign, the Ajilon logo appeared in TV ads promoting the Awards, on a raft of promotional materials created by WA Business News, in addition to Chris and the business being referenced in a number of press articles.
